FPV (first-person-view) racing-quadcopter drones converted into one-way strike weapons have defined the Ukrainian and Russian battlefields since 2023. Operators work in pairs - pilot in goggles plus a spotter with antenna/video relay - usually from a treeline or trench fifty metres back. The cost per strike is under $500.
Painting tips
- Uniform: MultiCam, Ukrainian pixeled, or arid - dirty.
- Plate carrier: matching with darker pouches.
- FPV goggles: matte black with bright antenna stubs.
- Controller: black with bright orange/red stick caps.
