A camp scout in scavenged layers - cargo trousers, plate carrier over a fleece, half-face respirator, rifle low across the chest. Skin and clothing dusted with ash from days outside the shelter. Period: near-future apocalypse.
A survivor scout works the edges of the camp - perimeter sweep, foraging route, contact-checking. The visual language draws on contemporary post-disaster photography (Australian bushfires, Mariupol, Lytton) where survivors move through ash-coated landscapes.
Painting tips
- Base layer: dirty olive or brown.
- Plate carrier: matte dark earth, dusted with grey-white ash.
