HISTORY · CONTEXT

Electronic Warfare Backpack Operator

A soldier with portable electronic-warfare backpack - directional antenna up over the shoulder, control tablet at the chest, plate carrier, helmet. The drone-counter side of the battlefield. Period: Russo-Ukrainian War, 2022-present.

Portable EW backpacks (Bukovel-AD on the Ukrainian side, RB-341V Leer on the Russian) jam drone video, control, and GPS bands. Their value has soared since 2023; an EW operator at a checkpoint or in a trench is the last line against an FPV strike.

Painting tips

  • Uniform: arid MultiCam or pixeled.
  • EW pack: matte olive or dark earth with bare-metal antenna.
  • Antenna: bright black with reflective tape at the tip.
  • Tablet screen: pale blue-grey glow.

SCALE TABLE · ELECTRONIC WARFARE BACKPACK OPERATOR

How tall this figure stands.

We offer five scales. Scale is a ratio (1:35 = 1/35 of life-size), not a flat number, so actual height depends on the sculpt. Heights below are for a standing adult of about 1.78 m; seated, kneeling and animal figures come out smaller. The main product photo shows the figure at 1:35; the smallest scale is preselected.

Scale Standing adult Use case
1:32 55.9 mm Showcase · 1:32 vehicles
1:35 · in photo 51.0 mm Classic military diorama
1:43 41.6 mm Diecast · model railway
