A short section of broken highway guard rail - W-section steel twisted at one end, rusted post pulled half out of concrete, peeling reflective tape. The signature highway-event detritus. Period: near-future apocalypse.
Highway crash barriers (W-section guard rail) torn loose by uncleared collisions are the universal visual cue of an abandoned-infrastructure road. Sized as a compact fragment to drop on a base.
Painting tips
- Rail: galvanised grey with rust runs along the W-section.
- Posts: rust-orange with peeling green or brown paint.
- Reflective tape: faded white-and-red, peeling.
- Concrete base: cracked, sepia-washed.
