A lean feral dog, ribs visible, ears up, head turned. Survives on what the camp throws out. Period: near-future apocalypse.

Stray and semi-feral dogs orbit every post-event camp and refugee site - sometimes tolerated, sometimes adopted as guard or companion. The pose reads as cautious approach rather than threat.
