Pre-digital intelligence services ran on paper, paper, paper - and the steel filing cabinet was the universal storage unit. The Aquarium and every rezidentura abroad filled rooms with them; classified ones had reinforced locks and seals.
Painting tips
- Body: muted grey-green or pale beige enamel.
- Handles and lock: bare-metal highlights.
- Lable plates: small dull cream rectangles.
- Slight scuff at the base corners.
