A racing-quadcopter FPV drone modified as a one-way strike weapon - exposed carbon frame, four motors with prop guards, taped explosive charge under the belly, antenna whips. Period: Russo-Ukrainian War, 2022-present.
Hobby-grade 5-7" FPV racing drones converted to carry RPG warheads, hand-grenade payloads, or shaped-charge bricks became the defining weapon of the 2023-25 battlefield. A $300 drone strikes a $3M tank with a 70%+ hit rate. Production is mass-volunteer/cottage-industry on both sides.
