Jersey barriers (~80-90 cm reinforced concrete) line every modern military road approach. The dust-coated version reads as long-in-place at an arid theatre - Iraq, Afghanistan, Sahel, Sinai.
Painting tips
- Concrete: muted off-white grey, very heavy dust drybrush over the top half.
- Stripe: faded yellow or white, mostly buried by dust.
- Vehicle scrape: dark grey rubber and bare concrete.
- Heavy dust at the base contact line.
