Drone Battery Crate Stack

A small stack of plastic transport crates loaded with drone batteries - charge bricks visible at the top, cabling coiled. The fuel of the modern drone war. Period: Russo-Ukrainian War, 2022-present.

FPV and recon drone units burn through dozens of lithium-polymer batteries per sortie cycle. Forward positions stockpile spares in plastic crates with field chargers. The logistics tail of the drone war is electrical, not fuel.

Painting tips

  • Crates: muted black or matte grey plastic.
  • Batteries: matte black bricks with bright contact tabs and warning labels.
  • Cabling: black/red wire bundles.
  • Optional bright tape colour-coding on the battery tops.
